"Then" and "Now" images

This is a clever website that I stumbled upon while surfing. The creators used archival photographs of the state of Arizona, then travelled to the sites to take current photos. The impressive aspects are the generally faithful reproduction of the image by choosing the right focal length for the photograph (often hard to do), and the innovative website design where the old and new photos are "superimposed" and change when you roll your cursor over them.

Nothing spectacular - but interesting. The one "sad" photo is to see how the Colorado river has shrunk in size over the years because of the harvesting of the water (it's my understanding that it no longer flows to the sea...)
